These stats place him above most A-rank Greek bronze cavalry while staying under the S-ranks like Alexander or Philip. In the GCR meta, Hannibal is the logical pick for a heavy-cavalry Hellenistic strategy: phalanx plus companion cavalry, Hannibal at the head of the charge. His cavalry cap of 9 is the maximum for an A-rank bronze; he holds his own against A-rank golds without surpassing the S-ranks in the Punic scenarios where Scipio Africanus is the scripted opponent. His archer cap of 7 also lets him lead a line of Greek archers when the composition demands it. Practical advantage: unlocked earlier than the S-ranks, he is the ideal transition general for replacing early-campaign commanders.
