Kutuzov — Mikhail Kutuzov, Russian commander who repelled Napoleon's 1812 invasion, architect of the scorched-earth strategy and indirect victor at Borodino. European War 6 classes him bronze S-rank artillery for the Russian faction. His kit is oriented toward defense and open-field mobility: Plain Fighting level 3 (+bonus in flat terrain), Cover level 2 (defense up), Land Fort level 2 (+bonus from fortifications), Explosives level 1, and Salvo level 1. The flat-terrain emphasis matches the reality of the Russian steppes exactly — Kutuzov is tactically unbeatable on the great European plain maps. Attributes: pure 2/2 artillery cap, no overlap. Less offensive than Napoleon on urban sieges (no Storm Fortifications), but vastly superior in defensive mobile combat. In the EW6 meta, Kutuzov is the centerpiece of a Russian composition for the 1812 campaign: he leads two light-artillery batteries while Russian infantry yields terrain in good order. High priority for players running Russia against France.
